Off-Road Extreme: Shelby Introduces All-New F-250 Super Cab Baja Pickup Truck

The Blue Oval left its fans waiting for a lot more when it announced that it will initially only offer its 3rd-generation Raptor with a 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost motor. The company has confirmed that a more powerful V8-equipped Raptor R variant will join the nameplate’s range sometime next year.

If you are one of the many Raptor fans who cannot wait for Ford’s upcoming V8-powered offering, then Shelby American has the answer to your prayers. Shelby has officially announced its all-new F-250 SuperCab Baja pickup. Under the hood of Shelby’s latest offering sits a 6.7-liter Power Stroke Turbodiesel motor which produces 479 horsepower of maximum power and a whopping 1,050 lb-ft of peak torque that kicks in at just 1,600 RPM

That is more than enough to kick you back into your custom Shelby leather seats, which flaunt the company’s logo in contrasting red stitching. The interior also gets a generous serving of carbon fiber bits, billet racing pedals, and stainless steel gauges. The truck now rides on a bespoke suspension setup which was designed in collaboration with FOX. The new system uses a FOX 2.0 dual steering stabilizer, a custom BDS lift system, front radius arms, and front coilover springs, which come equipped with Fox 2.5 adjustable reservoirs.

The stock alloys have been swapped in favor of 18-inch all-black Shelby rims, which are wrapped in 37-inch BFG KM3 rubbers. Shelby’s latest offering comes with a $125,805 price tag, and the company will only produce 250 units of its new Supercab Baja pickup truck.
